The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People (RosettaBooks, 2013)

In this classic work, Dr. Stephen R. Covey characterizes the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People as embodying many of the fundamental principles of human effectiveness.  He describes their adoption and practice as the foundation for lasting success and happiness.

In Part One, Paradigms and Principles, he provides an overview of The Seven Habits.

Part Two, Private Victory, he discusses Personal Vision, Principles of Personal Leadership and the discipline of prioritizing your endeavors.

Part Three, Public Victory, moves the reader to consider his role in the world beyond self.  He discusses interpersonal relationships and leadership, communication skills and cooperation.

In Part  Four, Renewal, the principles of a balanced life and renewal thereof are presented.

This is an enormously valuable book that has elevated the human condition of many since its publication in 1989 and continues to do so.

Sadly, Dr. Covey recently passed away.  Thank you, Dr. Covey.
